Groupe ADP has lowered its 2026 passenger traffic forecast for Paris airports after weaker-than-expected growth during the first half of the year, citing the impact of the Middle East conflict, higher fuel prices and operational constraints.
The group handled 179.2 million passengers across its airport network in the first six months of 2026, a marginal increase of 0.2% compared with the same period last year. Traffic at Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly reached 51.6 million passengers, up 0.5%.
In June, Groupe ADP’s network welcomed 33.4 million passengers, a 1.4% decline, while traffic at the Paris airports fell 3.2% to 9.4 million passengers.
As a result, Groupe ADP now expects passenger traffic at its Paris airports to grow by around 0.5% in 2026, significantly below its previous forecast of 1.5% to 2.5%. The airport operator said the impact on its full-year financial targets will be assessed when it publishes its half-year financial results, taking into account cost-saving measures introduced since March that are expected to deliver greater benefits in the second half of the year.
