On 12 July, an ATR72-500 of Yeti Airlines registered 9N-AMM overran the runway at Kathmandu, Nepal, during landing; no casualties have been reported.
Yeti Airlines Twitter account confirmed the runway excursion, at 11:05 (UTC+5:45), also saying that all 69 people on board (66 passengers + 3 crew members) are now safe.
All flights are stopped, and arrivals diverted.
At the time of the incident, it was heavily raining as a thunderstorm was active over the capital.
