Wizz Air will reopen its base at Tuzla International Airport on 12 December 2025, marking ten years since its initial entry into the city. A new Airbus A321neo will be stationed there, with a second aircraft arriving by March 2026, adding 500,000 seats annually and making Wizz Air the market leader in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Nine new routes from Tuzla are being launched:
- From December 2025: Cologne, Hamburg, Maastricht, Malmö
- From March 2026: Berlin, Frankfurt Hahn, Gothenburg, Larnaca, Paris Beauvais
This expansion brings Wizz Air’s network in Bosnia and Herzegovina to 17 routes across nine countries, with services also from Sarajevo and Banja Luka.
The move strengthens Tuzla’s role as a regional hub, boosting tourism, jobs, and economic growth. Wizz Air emphasised its commitment to ultra-low fares, fleet modernisation with A321neos, and sustainable growth, aiming to rank among Europe’s top 10 tour operators.
