Wizz Air Holdings Plc (“Wizz Air”), the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, today announces passenger statistics for October 2017.
In October 2017, Wizz Air continued to expand its network, operations and customer offering with the following announcements:
- Route network expansion with thirteen new routes announced to/from Georgia (5x), Romania (2x), Poland (2x), Hungary (1x), Bulgaria (1x), Lithuania (1x), and Moldova (1x).
- Addition of the 144 destinations to the Wizz Air network with Athens, Greece.
- Submitted application for a UK Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC) further demonstrating Wizz Air’s commitment to Europe’s single largest aviation market.
- Implemented new baggage policy, eliminating paid-for cabin bag.
