LAUNCH OF THE NEW DIRECT FLIGHT FROM TALLINN TO KYIV
The new flight to Ukraine will be the only direct connection between the two capitals and will be operated three times a week. Looking to bring more travel opportunities for its passengers at truly affordable fares, WIZZ will commence on 17 September a second service from Tallinn to London-Luton operated four times weekly. Wizz Air operations and new services from Tallinn International Airport will also contribute to the local economy and stimulate tourism as more than 50,000 seats are available in 2018 from Tallinn.
The first route from Tallinn will be flying to the eclectic city of Kyiv. A city built on the sides of the Dnipro River, with a bunch of islands with beaches and parkland. The urban art, vintage cafes and the history of the Ukrainian capital, make it a perfect choice for travellers looking for a city break or plan a business trip.
WIZZ, as the pioneer of low-fare air travel across Europe, is looking to respond to the increasing demand for its low fare tickets and great travel experience, while further contributing to the growth of the local economies, aviation and hospitality industries as well as strengthen business ties between the countries. This year only, between March and July 2018, 700 new flights are introduced in its weekly flight schedule across its European network, including the Tallinn – Kyiv route.
