Wizz Air is expanding its Italian network with 16 new international routes from Venice, Milan Malpensa, Rome Fiumicino, and Pescara, connecting passengers to destinations across Northern, Eastern, and Western Europe. The move includes basing a third Airbus A321neo at Venice to boost capacity in Italy’s northeast.
From Venice, seven new routes will launch—including Bordeaux, Larnaca, Tallinn, Kutaisi, London Luton, Valencia, and Tel Aviv—while Milan Malpensa gains five new links to Alicante, Brasov, Cluj-Napoca, Glasgow, and Seville. Rome Fiumicino will add flights to Brasov, Bordeaux, and Glasgow, and Pescara will see a new route to Iasi.
The expansion, part of Wizz Air’s €14 billion ‘Customer First Compass’ investment plan, reinforces Italy as the airline’s largest market by passengers carried and aims to offer more choice, convenience, and sustainable travel options with its modern, low-emission fleet.
