LOAD FACTOR INCREASES 2.4 PPTS TO 95.4%
Wizz Air Holdings Plc (“Wizz Air”) announces passenger statistics for August 2017.
In August 2017, Wizz Air continued to expand its network, operations and customer offering with the following announcements:
- Route network expansion with seventeen new routes announced to/from Romania (7x), Poland (5x), Hungary (2x), Czech Republic (1x), Lithuania (1x), and Latvia (1x).
- Second based Airbus A320ceo aircraft joins the Kyiv fleet in Ukraine.
- The introduction of a new ancillary product helping customers locking-in Wizz Air’s low fares for 48 hours and complete their purchase later.
- Shareholder approval to purchase 10 additional brand new Airbus A321ceo aircraft from Airbus to be delivered during 2018 – 2019.
