Wizz Air has announced the launch of three new direct routes from Poland for the Spring/Summer 2026 season, further strengthening its leisure offering and reinforcing its position as the country’s second-largest airline.
From Warsaw Modlin Airport, Wizz Air will introduce services to Varna (Bulgaria) and Rimini (Italy). Varna will be served three times weekly, while Rimini will operate four times per week. In addition, a new route from Kraków to Rhodes (Greece) will launch with three weekly flights. Services will begin between late May and early June 2026, with one-way fares starting from 109 PLN.
The new routes target popular seaside destinations across the Black Sea, Adriatic and Mediterranean, appealing to both holidaymakers and VFR travellers. All flights will be operated with Airbus A321neo aircraft, offering lower fuel consumption, reduced CO? emissions and significantly less noise compared to previous-generation aircraft.
Wizz Air now operates 234 routes from Poland to 32 countries and has carried nearly 130 million passengers since launching operations in the market. Growth is underpinned by the airline’s expanding base at Warsaw Modlin, opened in December 2025, and a young, efficient fleet with an average age of just over 4.5 years.
According to Wizz Air, the new connections reflect its continued investment in Poland and its Customer First Compass strategy, focused on affordable fares, flexibility and improved customer experience.
