Wizz Air has launched a new route between Berlin Brandenburg Airport and Timisoara, with flights operating twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays from 21 May 2026. The service is operated by Airbus A320neo and A321neo aircraft and further strengthens the airline’s expansion in Eastern and Southeastern Europe.
Timisoara becomes Wizz Air’s fourth new destination from Berlin this summer, following the launch of flights to Bratislava, Tuzla and Cluj-Napoca earlier in the season.
The airline is also increasing frequencies on several existing routes from BER, including services to Belgrade, Chi?in?u, Tirana and Varna, while continuing daily flights to Bucharest.
Overall, Wizz Air will serve twelve destinations from BER during the 2026 summer timetable, increasing total seat capacity by 90% compared with the previous summer season.
