INSPIRING CUSTOMERS TO VISIT UNIQUE AND EXCITING DESTINATIONS IN THE WIZZ AIR NETWORK

Wizz Air launches Trip Planner, a new website search tool, designed to inspire passengers who are undecided on the destination of their next holiday.

Trip Planner allows passengers to discover new and exciting destinations by offering a choice of flexible filters based on holiday category, origin airport, date, trip duration and budget. WIZZ will then do all the hard work, searching its far-reaching network of more than 550 routes and suggesting a variety of destinations which meet the desired criteria.

Passengers can choose from a number of holiday categories, including city break, family holiday, winter sports, adventure/sport, romance, beach, “off the beaten track”, entertainment/nightlife and cheap beer. From a beach break in Azerbaijan to glacier hiking in Iceland, sunny destinations all year round or exciting city breaks across all Europe, new adventures await Wizz Air’s customers, all courtesy of Trip Planner.

Wizz Air has constantly improved its user-friendly website since its launch a year ago. Recent additions to the airline’s service offering include a newly laid out fare finder grid, free online name correction, the opportunity to hold a selected fare for a period of 48 hours with Fare Lock and the Flexible Travel Partner service, allowing customers to create a new reservation without including all passengers’ names at the time of booking. The introduction of Trip Planner is yet another example of Wizz Air enhancing the booking experience for its customers.

Harry Drok, Head of E-Commerce at Wizz Air said:

“As the sixth most-visited airline website in the world, we are always looking to enhance customer experience and this long-awaited new search tool will inspire our passengers to visit unique and exciting destinations in the ever-growing WIZZ network. We believe that Trip Planner will be highly appreciated by savvy travelers looking to discover new places and engage in new adventures, taking advantage of Wizz Air’s low cost fares and enjoy our friendly and professional service on board. We invite everyone to follow Europe’s favorite low-cost airline on Facebook, where we will highlight some of the surprising gems in our network.”
