Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, today announced a new route from Katowice to Liverpool. The route will commence on 29 March and will be initially operated with three weekly flights.

Liverpool is a very popular tourist destination thanks to its popular football team and The Beatles, the group that brought the city a proud label from Guinness World Records as being the “World Capital of Pop.”

With this new service, WIZZ is now offering 27 routes to 13 countries from Katowice. Tickets on Wizz Air’s new UK route are already on sale and can be booked on wizzair.com from GBP 24.49 / PLN 119*.
