The Spanish low-cost airline has decided to make Marseilles its fifth French base. It launches the recruitment of 50 people locally.
Volotea, which has been operating in Marseilles since 2014, will in 2018 operate flights to 18 destinations in France and in Europe, 8 more than in 2017. In total, it will increase the number of seats available by 60%, for a total of 290,000 seats. By the way, the Spanish low-cost will become the second company in the number of destinations proposed from Marseilles.
Volotea has decided to base 2 Boeing 717s in Marseilles. This new base creates 50 jobs: pilots, cabin crew and a managerial position to coordinate all activities at the base. A recruitment campaign will soon be launched on www.volotea.com and the platform www.aerojobs.fr of Marseille-Provence airport.
