Volotea has launched direct flights between Berlin Brandenburg Airport and Florence, marking the first time the Tuscan capital has been served nonstop from BER.
The route will operate up to twice weekly, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, using a 156-seat Airbus A319. The journey takes just under two hours.
Services are scheduled around periods of strong leisure demand, operating in September and October, over the Christmas and New Year period, and again from late March with the start of the summer timetable.
The new route also marks Volotea’s return to Berlin Brandenburg Airport and expands the range of direct Italian destinations available from the German capital region.
