On 27 May, a Volga-Dnepr Airlines Antonov An-124 (registered RA-82078) operated flight VI3469 between Paris Châlons Vatry, France and Krasnoyarsk Airport, Russia. During approach to the Russian airport, however, the aircraft sustained damage to its nose cone while flying through lightning and a thunderstorm.
