Volaris transported 3.2 million passengers in August 2026 as the Mexican low-cost airline recorded strong growth across its domestic and international networks.
Capacity, measured in available seat miles, increased by 15.8% compared with August 2025, while passenger traffic rose by 15.4%. Domestic traffic grew by 13.2%, with international traffic increasing more strongly by 18.9%.
The consolidated load factor declined slightly, falling by 0.3 percentage points to 84.4%.
Volaris said its peak summer capacity had successfully captured strong demand. The airline now plans to moderate capacity during the seasonally weaker autumn period to keep supply aligned with demand.
