Virgin Atlantic has inaugurated a new daily route between London Heathrow Airport and Incheon International Airport, marking its entry into the South Korean market.
Operated by Boeing 787-9 aircraft, the service—launched on 29 March 2026—makes Virgin Atlantic the only British flag carrier flying direct between the UK and South Korea. The route strengthens both passenger and cargo connectivity, tapping into growing demand driven by South Korea’s economic importance and global cultural influence.
Through its partnership with Korean Air and the SkyTeam alliance, passengers can access extensive onward connections across the Asia-Pacific region, including Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia.
The launch supports Virgin Atlantic’s broader expansion in Asia, while enhancing trade, tourism, and business links between the UK and one of the world’s fastest-growing and most dynamic markets.
