Virgin Atlantic launches daily flights from London to Seoul – Opening the door to Northeast Asia

Virgin Atlantic will launch a new daily service from London Heathrow (LHR) to Seoul Incheon International Airport (ICN) starting 29 March 2026, operated by a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. Tickets are now on sale, with return fares starting from £799 in Economy, £1,493 in Premium, and £3,113 in Upper Class.

The new route strengthens Virgin Atlantic’s eastward expansion, joining recent launches to Riyadh, Dubai, and the Maldives, and enhancing connectivity across Asia-Pacific through its SkyTeam partnership with Korean Air. The codeshare agreement enables seamless travel to destinations across Japan, Greater China, Vietnam, Australia, and New Zealand.

“We’re thrilled to be launching our new service to Seoul at one of the most captivating times to visit this vibrant and forward-looking city,” said Juha Järvinen, Chief Commercial Officer at Virgin Atlantic. “From historic palaces and world-class shopping to a thriving food scene and cultural festivals, there’s so much for travellers to explore. And thanks to our collaboration with SkyTeam partners, guests can easily connect across South Korea and beyond, all while enjoying the premium Virgin Atlantic experience.”

The launch comes just in time for Seoul’s cherry blossom season in early April, when the city’s parks and palaces are transformed by pink and white blooms. The route will also appeal to travellers attending South Korea’s major cultural events, including the Lotus Lantern Festival, Gangnam Festival, and the Busan International Film Festival.
