Virgin Atlantic is significantly enhancing Caribbean connectivity through a new interline partnership with InterCaribbean Airways and an expanded agreement with Caribbean Airlines, giving travellers access to more than 33 regional destinations.

The newly launched InterCaribbean partnership enables one-ticket, through-checked connections from Barbados and Antigua to 11 islands, including Dominica, St Lucia, St Kitts, Grenada, Kingston and Turks & Caicos, as well as onward travel to Georgetown, Guyana. The expanded Caribbean Airlines agreement adds access to 16 destinations, including new links to Beef Island and San Juan.

Alongside these partnerships, Virgin Atlantic will increase its own inter-island flying this winter, boosting services between Barbados, Grenada and St Vincent and the Grenadines from two to three weekly flights. All routes will be operated by the carrier’s latest Airbus A330-900neo.

Passengers booking onward connections will benefit from seamless journeys with Through Check-In, with baggage transferred automatically to final destinations.

Chief Commercial Officer Juha Jaervinen said the expanded network reaffirms the Caribbean as “a cornerstone” of the airline’s route map and makes island-hopping easier than ever for customers travelling from London Heathrow and Manchester.
