United Airlines grounded all flights across the U.S. and Canada for about 30 minutes early Wednesday due to a company-requested ground stop linked to a “connectivity issue.”
The FAA lifted the stop at 01:30 ET, and United confirmed operations quickly resumed. Around 40 delays and a handful of cancellations were reported, with Los Angeles International Airport most affected.
The airline faced a similar outage in August that caused major delays at several hubs.
