Lyon – Basel/Mulhouse: Twin Jet to operate one daily frequency

In recent months, Twin Jet has been working on the takeover of the Lyon / Mulhouse route with local industrial players and travel agencies. This route will start from March 5, 2019, with a daily flight, Monday to Friday. The flight Lyon-Mulhouse is available from 99 € one way.

Twin Jet General Manager Guillaume Collinot declares: “We wish in the short term to double the number of flights on our base in Lyon. Mulhouse is a destination that was essential and the industrialists of both regions were constantly asking for relaunching the route to enable them to facilitate their trade. Twin Jet is positioned in this market between these two regions which will also connect the airport of Basel-Mulhouse to the Lyon hub. This new route thus gives a major boost to the company’s development on the Lyon Saint Exupéry platform“.

Launch of Marseille / Mulhouse

The company has also prepared the launch of the Marseille / Mulhouse route to offer a new service to industrialists and tourists. This new connection will be operated from March 5th, with a daily flight at the following times:

MRS 15:15 16:40 BSL 1234
MRS 14:35 16:00 BSL 5
BSL 17:10 18:35 MRS 1234
BSL 16:25 17:50 MRS 5

This new direct route to Mulhouse once again allows Twin Jet to strengthen its presence in the East of France. It made sense for the company to offer the inhabitants of Mulhouse and Basel a new option for trips to Marseille. The one-way flight Marseille-Mulhouse is available from 99 €.

Vincent Courtois, Sales Manager of the scheduled routes, says: “Twin Jet now has 14 flights a day departing or arriving at Marseille Provence which is our first base. Local manufacturers have trusted us for 18 years and appreciate our punctuality which is also our strength“.

Twin Jet plans to strengthen its bases in Lyon and Marseille in the coming weeks

Twin Jet has decided to open new routes for the summer of 2019. Olivier Manaut, the Group’s Chairman, says: “Two new routes are only the beginning of our development for 2019! We are preparing new lines and new frequencies which we will talk about very soon”.

Reservations are available to all travel agencies and on the company’s website www.twinjet.com. Twin Jet is a FlyingBlue partner, the loyalty programme of the Air France – KLM group. Passengers will be able to earn miles on their loyalty card.
