An Asiana Airlines Airbus A330 (HL7792) has hit a Turkish Airlines Airbus A321 (TC-JMM) at Istanbul Atatürk Airport on Sunday, the A321 was parked too short in position 218 when the A330 knocked down the complete vertical stabilizer of the smaller A321. No injuries have been reported but there is severe damage to both aircraft. Not surprisingly flight OZ551 to Seoul-Incheon was cancelled.

A headache for insurance companies!
I don’t see a pushback.
Indeed, I corrected, the Turkish Airlines was waiting to park at its position.
