AJet, the subsidiary of Turkish Airlines, has launched a new direct route between Cologne/Bonn Airport and Sivas, Türkiye, creating the only nonstop link between Germany and the Central Anatolian city.
The weekly service operates every Wednesday, with a flight time of around four hours. The route expands Cologne/Bonn’s Türkiye network and is expected to be particularly attractive for passengers visiting family and friends in the region.
With a population of more than 630,000, Sivas is one of Anatolia’s oldest cities, known for its more than 4,000 years of history and well-preserved 13th-century architecture. The new AJet service is also currently the only international flight connection from Sivas Airport.
