TUI fly launches direct Düsseldorf and Brussels flights to Sweden’s Sälenfjällen ski region

Share

TUI has opened Sweden’s largest ski destination, Sälenfjällen, to German and Belgian travellers with new weekly direct charter flights from Düsseldorf and Brussels. The first flights arrived at Scandinavian Mountains Airport on December 20, 2025, with services operated by TUI fly running through the end of March.

The move is expected to attract thousands of international winter sports enthusiasts to the Dalarna region, positioning Sälen as a Nordic alternative to the Alps, boasting modern ski infrastructure, reliable snow conditions, and a relaxed atmosphere.

TUI is expanding its ski offering to Sälen from four European markets this winter, adding Germany and Belgium to its existing Dutch and UK programmes, with flights also available from Amsterdam and London. The operator is selling package holidays that include flights, transfers, and accommodation across around 20 selected ski hotels and lodges, many offering ski-in/ski-out access.
