For the upcoming 2018 summer season, TUI fly Belgium will hire around 250 new employees. This will bring its workforce to 1400 people. This recruitment campaign is due to the development of the activities of the 2nd largest Belgian airline which increases its number of destinations and its frequencies next summer. To complete this expansion, it will add five new aircraft to its fleet for a total of 32 aircraft.
Launched in 2004, TUI fly Belgium continues the development of its activities thanks to a constant monitoring of the market.
The airline TUI fly announced this autumn that it was further expanding the Belgian travel horizon with 15 new routes from several Belgian airports in 2018. To achieve this development, it will introduce brand new aircraft in its fleet and expand its staff.
With the arrival of 5 planes, TUI fly expands its capacity by 17%
TUI fly has already the most modern fleet in Belgium. Its fleet will expand again with five brand new aircraft this year: four Boeing 737-MAX, the latest single-aisle model from the American aircraft manufacturer, and a second Dreamliner. It will thus count 32 aircraft instead of 27 last year: 4 Boeing 737 MAX, 21 Boeing 737 “Next Generation”, 4 Embraer E-Jet E190, 1 Boeing 767-300ER and 2 Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner.
By expanding its flight offer and keeping tight prices, TUI fly wants to further strengthen its position as the 2nd Belgian airline
TUI fly will inaugurate 15 new routes from Belgium. Five of them will depart from Brussels Airport and ten from regional airports. TUI fly is the only airline to offer flights from all Belgian airports.
As a result of the expansion of the fleet, TUI fly will hire 247 new employees: 160 flight attendants, 64 pilots and 23 engineers. In 2017, TUI fly had already hired 330 new crew members to carry out the expansion of these activities. Since its inception in 2004, the company has been a major recruiter in the airline industry, with hundreds of new employees each year.
Pilots employed under a Belgian contract will immediately be able to work full-time for a minimum period of 5 years. More info on http://www.aviation24.be/aviation-jobs-werken-in-de-luchtvaart-offres-demploi/
