TUI fly Belgium has activated its in-house check-in solution at Brussels Airport, restoring normal operations for its flights as the airport continues to grapple with the cyberattack that disrupted systems managed by Collins Aerospace.
The carrier, which operates 10–15 daily flights from Brussels Airport, said check-in wait times have returned to normal and its full schedule has resumed. Over the weekend, several TUI flights had been diverted to Ostend.
In total, 63 flights were cancelled on Monday at Brussels Airport due to the attack. Other carriers are also adjusting: Brussels Airlines, the airport’s largest operator, is urging passengers to check in online.
