On 24 June, a TUI fly Belgium Boeing 737-700 (OO-JAL) operated flight TB2252 between Heraklion, Greece and Brussels Airport, Belgium. On final approach on Brussels’ runway 25L, however, the crew decided to make a go-around and entered in a holding pattern to investigate a technical problem.
After about twenty minutes, the aircraft approached runway 25L again and landed at a higher speed than usual. Plane spotters noted that firefighters awaited the aircraft upon landing, as a precautionary measure.
On 25 June, the aircraft was flying again, operating flight TB2161 to Patras, Greece.
