A computer breakdown hits Liège airport: one passenger flight delayed

TUI fly travellers to Tenerife and Las Palmas are impacted

A check-in computer failure prevented the registration of the 189 passengers of the TUI fly Belgium flight TB1177 for Tenerife and Las Palmas at the airport of Liège.

According to information from RTL, the airport says that its IT department is solving this problem. It should not affect the following flights. Liège Airport confirmed later to Aviation24.be that it was not exactly a computer failure: the whole Internet was down.

Meanwhile, flight TB1177 (operated by Boeing 737-800 OO-JAH) has taken off with a delay of 1 hour and 30 minutes.
