Travel Service, the biggest Czech airline company has acquired a majority of Czech Airlines (CSA) as Korean Airlines sells its 44% share. The Czech airline owned already 34% of CSA shares.
Travel Service has bought Korean Air shares as well as the Czech government’s stakes, and is now nearly full owner of the airline. Travel Service operates regular flights under the SmartWings brand, charter flights and private flights in the Business Jet category.
The announcement of the acquisition is expected later today.
