THAI Celebrates His Majesty the King’s Birthday with Special Desserts

On the auspicious occasion of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun’s birthday anniversary Thai Airways International (THAI) was delighted to serve passengers flying on this special day with a delectable Thai dessert onboard. The king’s birthday was 28 July.

Domestic Flights: Special desserts will be served on all flights (except no service during breakfast in Royal Silk Class). For flights departing from Bangkok, Royal Silk Class and Economy Class passengers will be treated to Pudding with pumpkin. On inbound flights into Bangkok, Royal Silk Class passengers will enjoy mango mousse jelly and Economy Class passengers will receive mango cheese pie.

International Flights: Special desserts will be served on all flights (for only flights departing from Bangkok, during lunch and dinner meal service). Passengers travelling in Royal First Class will be served egg custard with royal project pumpkin topped with Foi thong (sweet egg yolk threads), anchan coconut sauce and pandan syrup, kanom Chor Pai-lin (mung bean paste in soft bun), kanom sa-nae jan (soft mini-cookies), and white chocolate truffle filled with lemon passion fruit. Royal Silk Class will enjoy royal project Pumpkin cake filled with raspberry jelly, kanom sa-nae jan (soft mini-cookies), and crumble. Economy Class passengers will be treated to royal project Pumpkin cake with raspberry sauce.
