Thai Airways International (THAI) has launched direct flights between Bangkok and Amsterdam, reopening a key connection between Thailand and the Netherlands after the inaugural service departed on 1 July 2026 from Suvarnabhumi Airport.
The airline now operates daily non-stop flights between the two cities, offering seven weekly frequencies with the Airbus A350-900. The service operates as TG936 from Bangkok, departing at 05:35 and arriving in Amsterdam at 12:40, while the return flight TG937 leaves Amsterdam at 14:15 and arrives in Bangkok at 06:35 the following day.
THAI highlighted Amsterdam’s importance as a major European cultural, commercial and transport hub, offering passengers convenient onward connections across Europe by rail and air. The route strengthens Thailand’s links with the Netherlands while supporting tourism, business travel and trade between Southeast Asia and Europe.
