Thai Airways today should have taken delivery of its first Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. Unfortunately, the plane registered HS-TWA was forced to return to the Everett plant because of a small technical problem with the engine. The date of a new delivery flight has not yet been set.
The airline’s new 787 variant is set to enter operation on a double daily flight between Bangkok and Singapore from 1 October. The airline has installed 30 business class seats and 268 economy class seats.
