TAP Air Portugal launches Lisbon–Athens route from July

Share

TAP Air Portugal will inaugurate a new direct route between Lisbon and Athens on 1 July, operating five flights per week.

The service will be flown with Airbus A320neo aircraft during the summer season and Embraer E190 aircraft during the IATA winter season. From Lisbon’s Humberto Delgado Airport, flights depart at 21:30 on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, arriving in Athens at 03:40 the following day. Return flights from Athens leave at 04:40 on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, landing in Lisbon at 07:15 local time.

The new connection strengthens TAP’s European network and provides travellers with direct access to the Greek capital, a major cultural and tourism hub, as well as convenient onward access to popular destinations such as Delphi, Meteora and nearby islands including Hydra and Aegina.

Return fares on the Lisbon–Athens route start at €119, including taxes, and are available via flytap.com and travel agents.
