TAP will begin to fly between Lisbon and Conakry from July 3 onwards, offering three weekly flights between the two capitals.
Flights will depart from Lisbon on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 19.25 and arrive in Conakry at 23.10. In the opposite direction, flights will depart from Guinea’s capital on Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays at 00.05 and arrive in the Portuguese capital at 05.30 (local time). Tickets are already available for sale.
With the launch of this new route to the African continent, TAP will cover 17 African cities in 11 countries. In addition to Conakry (Guinea), the carrier also flies to Luanda (Angola), Maputo (Mozambique), S. Tome (Sao Tome and Principe), Bissau (Guinea-Bissau), Praia, Sal, Sao Vicente and Boa Vista (Cape Verde), Marrakesh, Casablanca, Tangier and Fez (Morocco), Dakar (Senegal), Abidjan (Côte d’Ivoire), Accra (Ghana) and Lomé (Togo).
TAP thus continues to expand its offer in all markets where it operates.
In 2018, TAP’s African routes saw a significant rise in the number of passengers: 116,000 more than in 2017, totalling 1.1 million passengers, which is a growth of 11.2% compared to the previous year.
