Suparna Airlines (formerly known as Yangtze River Airlines, part of the HNA Aviation group) has taken delivery of its second brand-new Boeing 777F, registration B-227X, which successfully landed at Liege Airport (LGG), reinforcing the Belgian airport’s status as one of Europe’s leading cargo hubs. The arrival also marked the maiden Shanghai Pudong–Liege (PVG–LGG) flight for the new freighter.

This latest addition builds on the airline’s growing intercontinental cargo network, enhancing capacity and connectivity between China and Europe, and supporting the rapid growth of cross-border e-commerce and global trade.

Swissport Cargo Services Belgium, Suparna’s ground handling partner at Liege, welcomed the milestone. Managing Director Wilfried Jans said the new route “establishes another key logistics corridor between China and Europe, bringing new opportunities for trade and economic exchange.”

Liege Airport, Europe’s premier specialist cargo airport, celebrated the expansion. Torsten Wefers, Vice President Sales & Marketing, noted: “We are delighted to welcome Suparna Airlines’ second Boeing 777F to Liege. This milestone underscores Liege’s role as a trusted gateway for Chinese cargo operators, connecting Asia and Europe 24/7 through efficient and flexible logistics solutions.”

With two Boeing 777Fs now in operation, Suparna Airlines continues to expand its long-haul cargo capabilities, strengthening its footprint in the European market and advancing its role in global supply chains.
