Strong demand as SAS brings back European business class

Share

Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) has officially reintroduced Business Class on European routes, and early booking figures indicate strong demand from travellers seeking a clearer premium offering.

The revamped European Business Class is part of SAS’s broader premium strategy, which also includes the addition of 35 new lounges across Europe and Scandinavia starting today, enhancing the end-to-end travel experience.

“The strong early interest shows that our premium strategy resonates with customers,” said Paul Verhagen, SAS Chief Commercial Officer. “We’re delivering the premium experience expected of a full-service European airline.”

Key Business Class features include:

  • Premium dining with glass and porcelain tableware
  • Dedicated forward cabin with blocked middle seats for extra comfort
  • Priority check-in and boarding
  • Lounge access at around 60 locations across Scandinavia and Europe

The product is available on all international European flights, including within Scandinavia, as SAS aims to strengthen its competitive position in the premium segment.
