Police and medical personnel met Southwest Airlines flight WN418 from Philadelphia upon arrival at Chicago Midway Airport after a passenger reportedly removed her clothing and defecated on her seat.
The plane, a Boeing 737-700 registered N7742B, was taken out of service for cleaning. Southwest apologised to affected passengers, emphasising its commitment to customer and employee safety.
The incident adds to recent operational challenges for the airline.
