On 17 June, a Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-800 (N8608N) was about to leave Pittsburgh for a domestic flight to Seattle when the aircraft got hit by a catering truck. The truck driver is being treated in hospital.
Teresa Varley, one of the passengers tweeted: “Sitting on our plane and this truck hit us just as we were getting ready to pull out. Shocking and scary. Praying the person is okay.”
