Smartwings is increasing flight frequencies from Prague to key Southern European destinations as part of its summer 2026 schedule, responding to strong and sustained travel demand.
From March 29, the airline will operate:
14 weekly flights to Málaga (twice daily)
Daily flights to Barcelona, Valencia, and Rome
The expansion reflects continued high demand for leisure travel to Spain and Italy, two of Smartwings’ most popular markets.
Overall, Smartwings will offer direct flights from Czech airports to 80 destinations across 20 countries this summer. Greece leads with the highest number of destinations, followed by Spain, Italy, and Portugal.
The airline is also seeing strong seasonal demand around Easter, with city breaks and island holidays—such as the Canary Islands, Madeira, and the Azores—proving especially popular.
To cater to different passenger needs, Smartwings continues to offer a range of fare options, from basic hand-luggage-only tickets to full-service Business Class, with entry-level fares starting at CZK 2,150.
