Smartwings will expand its scheduled network from Prague in the 2026/27 winter season with the launch of direct flights to Lisbon and increased frequencies on several existing European routes.
The new Prague–Lisbon service will begin on 23 October 2026 and operate three times weekly, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Lisbon becomes Smartwings’ fourth destination in Portugal, joining Porto, Funchal (Madeira) and Ponta Delgada (Azores).
Alongside the new route, the airline will increase services from Prague to Porto, Bilbao and Toulouse from two to three weekly flights. The carrier will also make its Prague–Nice route a year-round operation, with three flights per week instead of limiting it to the summer season.
According to Smartwings, the expansion reflects growing demand from Czech travellers for direct access to popular European destinations. One-way fares on the new Lisbon route start from €116, including a full-size cabin bag.
Under its winter 2026/27 schedule, Smartwings will operate direct flights from Czech airports to 39 destinations. In addition to its Czech operations, the group will continue to serve markets in Poland, Slovakia and Hungary.
