SkyWest, the world’s largest E175 operator, has placed a firm order for 60 Embraer E175 aircraft, with options for 50 more. Deliveries will begin in 2027, and the deal, valued at $3.6 billion at list prices, will be added to Embraer’s Q2 backlog.
This order reinforces SkyWest’s leadership in regional aviation and supports its long-term fleet strategy focused on dual-class regional service. SkyWest currently operates 263 Embraer jets and has 16 more on order.
Executives from both companies highlighted the strength of their nearly 40-year partnership and emphasised the E175’s role as a backbone of North American regional air travel.
