Arnaud Feist, CEO of Brussels Airport, was proud to welcome Singapore Airlines again and insisted on the multiple possibilities of connections at Singapore to Vietnam, Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand. He also mentioned the environmental characteristics of the A350, a next-generation aircraft developed by Airbus as the most energy-efficient and most silent aircraft of its kind.

The Singapore Airline fleet counts 124 aircraft, not including the 26 aircraft of subsidiary Silk Air and the 48 aircraft of low-cost Scoot.

Singapore Airlines currently serves 136 destinations in 37 countries. Those two figures will increase by one unit with the start of Brussels flights.

Singapore Airlines will be the 64th airline operating scheduled flights from Brussels.

  1. Great news however I am not quite sure if Brussels airport can really accommodate such a growth. What about lounge capacity? Passport control ? Given that the departure time from Brussels is a rush hour.
