Singapore Airlines will expand its European operations in late 2026 by increasing frequencies to several cities and launching new flights to Madrid via Barcelona.
The airline will begin five-times-weekly Singapore–Barcelona–Madrid services on 26 October 2026, making Madrid its 15th European destination and second in Spain. The route will be operated using Airbus A350-900 aircraft configured with 253 seats across Business, Premium Economy, and Economy classes.
At the same time, Singapore Airlines will boost services to several existing European destinations in response to strong demand. Flights to Manchester will increase to daily from July 2026, while Milan and London Gatwick services will become daily from October 2026. The carrier will also add a new three-times-weekly service to Munich, bringing total weekly flights there to ten.
The airline said the changes are intended to strengthen connectivity between Europe and Singapore while meeting growing business and leisure travel demand.
