Last week, Sichuan Airlines received the first of three Airbus A330-200F aircraft, on lease from BOC Aviation. The two additional planes will be delivered in autumn.
The airline had already expressed its intention to fly to Brussels airport for a long time, as Aviation24.be reported in March. The first flights should have taken place in April, but were delayed because of the late delivery of the necessary aircraft.
Sichuan Airlines has now announced that it will launch three weekly cargo flights from its home base Chengdu to Brussels from October. The number of flights should be gradually increased to six.
In addition to Brussels, Sichuan will operate cargo flights to Delhi and Chennai in India.
anyone knows when the first flight takes place as we are October?
