Sichuan Airlines Cargo, a Chinese airline based at Chengdu, was expected at Brussels Airport at the end of April 2019.

Aviation24.be learned from Brussels Airport’s spokeswoman Nathalie Pierard yesterday that: “Launch has been postponed for a few weeks, due to the delayed acquisition of slots and permits, and also to the late delivery of their first Airbus A330F (A7-AFZ, coming from Qatar Cargo).

The exact date of operation launch is still unknown, but the future cargo route hasn’t been cancelled, Pierard said.

The Chinese carrier Sichuan Airlines Cargo will operate full freight flights at Brussels Airport as from end of April
