On 10 November, a SCAT Airlines Boeing 737-500 (registered UP-B3723) operated domestic flight DV766 between Atyrau Airport and Nursultan Nazarbayev Airport Kazakhstan. Just after take-off, however, the aircraft received a number of bird strikes. One engine ingested a number of birds. The crew stopped the climb and returned to Atyrau for a safe landing.
