Swedish SAS pilots on strike since Friday, 10 June

On Sunday, flights operated by SAS with Swedish pilots will be cancelled. Flights, operated with Danish and Norwegian pilots, as well as with partner airlines, are planned to operate as normal. Passengers are advised to go to flysas.com.

“I sincerely apologize to all SAS-customers, Swedish Pilot Union have decided to go on strike. This affects passengers who are an innocent third party in this conflict. We have done all that’s in our power to avoid a strike, but we have unfortunately been unable to come to an agreement. Our main priority now is to take care of our customers and are working vigilantly to do everything we can to assist passengers affected” says Karin Nyman, Vice President Communications at SAS

SAS is continuously updating its website with travel information and sending updates by SMS and email to passengers. It is also possible get updates through SAS in social media. SAS recommends that all passengers check the latest travel information before heading to the airport.
