Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) flight SK7407 from Oslo to Tenerife (Airbus A320neo reg. SE-RUD) squawked 7700 and made an unscheduled landing in Amsterdam on Sunday morning following a medical emergency on board, the airline confirmed.
“An acute illness occurred during the flight, and the aircraft made a stopover in Amsterdam in line with normal procedures,” said SAS communications manager Øystein Schmidt.
The passenger received immediate medical attention upon landing.
Once the situation was resolved, after a little over one hour on the ground, the flight resumed its journey to Tenerife.
