Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) charter flight SK7808 from Samos, Greece, to Gothenburg (Airbus A320neo registered EI-SCD) was forced to make an emergency landing in Budapest after a passenger suffered an acute medical issue.
SAS confirmed the diversion was carried out according to routine procedures. The airline said the flight would resume shortly after the stop. And indeed, the aircraft departed Budapest at 14:08 and arrived at Gothenburg’s Landvetter Airport at 15:54, less than 2 hours behind schedule.
