SAS has completed the installation of Starlink high-speed internet across its entire fleet of 81 Airbus A320neo aircraft, only six months after launching the service in March 2026.
The A320neo is the first aircraft type in the SAS fleet to be fully equipped with Starlink. It represents approximately 70% of the airline’s fleet and operates a large proportion of its European services.
EuroBonus members can use the gate-to-gate connection free of charge through SAS’s partnership with telecommunications company 3. The satellite-based service supports web browsing, streaming, messaging and remote working.
Installations, testing and regulatory approval were completed alongside normal flight operations. SAS is now preparing to extend Starlink to its remaining aircraft types, with further installations planned before the end of 2026.
