In a short statement, Ryanair today releases its January 2023 passenger figures. The Irish low-cost airline transported 11.8 million passengers. An increase of 69% compared to January 2022, when Ryanair welcomed 7 million passengers.
Ryanair operated 68,200 flights and the load factor increased to 91% (+12% compared to the same period last year).
Simultaneously, Wizz Air Holdings reports January 2023 passengers up 73.1% to 4.1 million, with load factor increases 6.4 points to 86.0%, and capacity is up 60.1%.
